Post Heater blower fan is suddenly intermittent?

In the last few days my blower fan has shut off several times.. only to pop back on by itself a few minutes later. However, this morning, in 4 degree (F) weather, it quit and won't come back on..

It has been making a little squealy noise every now and then since I got the car in October..regardless of fan position I'll get a noise that sounds like a bearing squeal.I think the motor has given up?

Can someone point me to instructions or a tech session on how to replace this part?

Am I in for a real pain to replace it?

ugggh.

If it is just the fan blower then it is a real simple job. Test the fan with some power to see if it works. If it does then it is likely the resistor. I've just finished "fabricating" something for my car so I get some heat. You wouldn't want to do what I did. I can post more after I get home from work, after 7 tonight if no one else helps you out. Or you could email me.

Goodluck
