Post Projects for a lonely car

Well I've gotta wait like a week to get my head back from the shop, this leaves me with a lot of time to work on the car.

What projects can I do while I've got the head off the car? I painted the intake manifold and front coolant pipe tonight, I'll be cleaning the bay up tomorrow.

If you had 6 or 7 solid days to do nothing but work on your car. What would you do?

Boy, talk about an open ended question!
6 or 7 days....hmmmmm lets see what could I do?
Well to start with, disconnect, clean, and reconnect all the grounds just to forstall any future problems. Perform a very thorough visual inspection of all the vacume lines, wiring, fuel lines ect that are hard to see when the head and stuff is on....A good wash and wax/detail comes to mind....Drink a beer....Jack her up and detail the underside, messy I know but sure would look good.....Replace the sway bar bushings...check all accessable bolts for proper tightness....

Wish I had your dilema....
HAVE FUN with the project...

remove seats and steam clean the carpets. Detail under the front/ rear suspension. Turn rotors. check brake pads/ replace. redo all the vacuum lines. pull every ground wire, 600 grit sand and replace. check battery grounds and starter cables for stress/ wear. install Iceshark cables. consider upgrading stereo and/or speakers. Install subwoofers. touch up inside fenderwells with flat black testors paint. touch up , wetsand and buff any chips. a good wash/ wax and detail..

What a question!!

Glad its going well Nick!

No, Chris isn't retired, he's just had to do alot himself, like many of us! Aaarrgh, mine's being a pill right now; runs, but she isn't getting any more 91 octane until she quits her bad behaviour, along with gas guzzling!

lots of beer... don't forget the beer hehe. Why did ya have the head pulled? Do your front seals/timing belt/water pump lately? hehe

Yeah if you have time I'd go through and make her all nice and purty. I have the time I just need the motivation to go work on my beast haha.

Well in order to have all this time, it means I'm kind of short on money.

I'd love to do the timing belt and water pump and all the other ****, but I just cant afford all that right now.

The timing belt is pretty recent, it's got less than 10k miles on it.
