Any tricks to rewire rear wiper?
Ok, three wires run from the front to the back and connect to the motor for the rear wiper to work. There is a tube that those wires sit in so they stay put. Does anyone have a trick to running those wires back down that tube?

The car came into this world with a rear wiper and dam it it will leave this world with one.

I won't say anything about not needing a rear wiper in Victorville but...use the old wires to pull the new ones through. If I remember right there a plug between the hatch and sunroof under the trim panel you can splice into. Save the plug and solder new ones on before pulling through the tube. In California a rear wiper is pretty useless IMO though and the plug looks much better.

Or, you could use a "fish tape". It's used by electricians to pull wire through conduit/walls/tube/etc.

They're also sold at electrical supply stores, and maybe even Home Depot.

Kuhl has it. Best solution. I tried to get my rear wiper working, got pissed off, and deleted it. Now to find a consol plug and lose the switch. If you need a good switch, let me know.

Thanks guys, the fish tape might be the way I go if the hanger turns out to be too much labor. I know the wiper delete looks cleaner but it is just a feature I want to have on my car.
Hey we also get some rain in Victorville and driving down the pass too. Plus I do take the car on long trips and in the rain so the car does see some weather.

It helps quite a bit to lube up wires before pulling them through.
There are special cable pulling lubricants, but pretty much any grease will do.
It's messy, but it makes it a lot easier.

This is my experience with machine wiring and house hold electrician-type work. It may be different with car wiring.
