Angry Stupid SMT-6!

Hooked up the smt-6 to the roadster today. double checked that the connections on the turbo dme connector and the na one were the same (at least for the wires the smt-6 needs)

the shorting plug led lights up when plugged into the harness and the car runs. plug the smt-6 in and the car runs. when i try to connect to the smt-6 in online mode it gives me question marks and zero's for load and rpm cells. and the red box doesnt move around. and when i try to set deflection and rpm scale it gives me an error and crashes. when i connect using offline it has numbers in the rpm and load scale but still wont move the red box.

under global settings. when I set them up. and press apply or ok. and exit the global setting tab. they reset! wtf? even if I save it right afterward they are back to default every time. and with the smt-6 connected WOT is f*cked up. it doesnt stumble as much as it just revs really slow. so the smt-6 is doing SOMETHING. just nothing it's supposed too.

heres some pictures. could it be the converter i have to convert the comm plug to usb?

engine is pretty much stock. just intake and exhaust. stock AFM.

You are using a Vitesse "Branded" unit with the generic SMT software?

The Vitesse unit comes with own "Vitesse" software. Mixing and matching software and hardware is not recommended.
