Oh EXCEPT that relay for the NOS system dangling under the car. Whoever did that oughta get a good whipping. I give that relay 1 month, or one rainy day before it fails, jamming the NOS system in the ON posisition most likely, perhaps putting pretty little holes in all the custom forged pistons Im sure that it has.

We have a bent front end (headlights are lined up like ****), incomplete headlights, the original gearbox (450hp in it? yeah right, can only be used in full in 4th gear and up) and even less ground clearance, interesting but some major oversights too!

While not my cup of tea, it is a VERY CLEAN car both in and out and the builder spent about a ZILLION dollars on the thing! Talk about taking a big bath...WOW! They will have lost close to $40k on that car if they actually had to pay for the work that was done...I doubt it could even be built (if you just sent an old 944 to a shop and said DO THIS) for $50k!

he can keep it. sits so high, camellian paint belongs on nothing and none of the front body panels line up properly. but, i do like the old school hre wheels, if they werent chrome. in other words everything wrong. it'd be a sweet winter beater.

I think the thing is just a flashy piece of crap. The paint quality is pretty good but the color choice sucks. The wiring on what I think is a NOS brand fuel pump is craptastic. Also note the cracking of the rubber on the pump. The spent the money on the expensive chameleon paint but jsut decided to leave the headlights a nice shade of faded twenty year old black? Same with the interior sure the seats are custom although hideous when you look at the pedals it looks like they didn't even bother to wipe em down.
The engine has that crappy autozone fake stainless braided hoses. Why spend bug money on nice wheels only to leave crapppy looking unmatched calipers with chips in them? And the huge nitrous bottle is so conspicuous! Ok then the seat belts They are no doubt nice but he just had to get RED that scream "look at me I got racing belts. I am a racer" Then take a look at how they are mounted. I bet if the first time those are actually needed they would either bend that shoulder harness mount or depending on the weld quality snap it off. The teflon tape on the nitrous solenoids is a nice touch but it would suck if a piece of it broke loose and clogged one of the solenoids.
This car to me is just a poser.

That thing sucks so much it has camber plates, koni yellows, big red brakes, and so many lame parts that it sold for more than any of the 944 I have ever seen sell for here. I guess it makes all the other run of the mill 944s less than lame as its difficult for most people to sell their 944 for more than 5k.

Somehow, I'm not sure I'd notice any imperfections when I'm driving that car.

Does it make it worth the price? To me, no. But then, that's only because I'd spend that kind of cash on the 911 I really want before I'd spend it on a 944 ( even though that one would likely make the 911 look silly, but whatever, I love 911s). Still, I'd run the hell out of that car at the track. Not on the street, though, because I'd lose my license pretty quickly.

BB.
