To avoid the stigma of the word "wagon", Let's use Audi's word for it: AVANT! There, doesn't that sound much better? I think so, and will be buying one once the Odyssey craps out..

An M Coupe? Are you nuts?
Actually, they're great cars. My brother has one. But a 944 has WAY more cargo carrying capacity than an M Coupe. The M Coupe is a two seater period. The 944 at least has an attempt at a back seat that can be used in a pinch. And the M Coupe cargo area is TINY. I've put huge amounts of stuff in the 944. I brought home a roll around tool chest, in it's shipping box, from Sears. The Sears guy wheels the thing out to the 944 on a hand truck and says "You've got to be kidding". Nope. I fold down the rear seat, put the tool chest box in, bungee the hatch closed, and off I went much to his amazement. I put bikes in the 944 all the time. But the M Coupe, no way. You can't fit anything into that car. It doesn't have a spare tire either.
But the M Coupe is a ton of fun to drive. That smooth, torquey M motor and growly exhaust are seriously addictive.
My Dad had an S6 Avant a couple years ago (a '95). The last of the Sport quattro descended 20V 5 cylinder turbos. In Crystal Silver. What a sleeper. Nobody EVER suspects the station wagon! And talk about cargo capacity. It bordered on infinite.
