Lightbulb 18" Boxster Sport Design Rims?

Does anyone know if 18" Boxster Sport Design rims will fit under my 87 944S?

Any help is appreciated!

Porsche recommended in a press release to not put 18" wheels on a 944, as it puts extra stress on the A-arms, I believe. I think you have to make sure your A-arms are in great condition before you make the switch.

They should fit fine... provided you use a 5mm spacer in front, otherwise they won't clear the grease cap. If you want to see what they look like go to my web site and visit the Galleria. I've got some pictures of them on my son's '89 Turbo.

There is a Tech Service Bulletin prohibiting 18" wheels on 944s, but that was written some years ago. There are lots of people that have gotten them TUV approved in Germany by fitting the aft A-arm caster mount from the 968, which is the part Porsche requires when fitting 17" wheels.
