[quote] ...hasn't been a pi**ing match in over...
- you girls think you can keep up with me on the bike
- 24 inch tires, oiled chain, and ten gears..
- GT mountain bike with all shimano components and tires to make a monster ...

Skip, you just started one hell of a PI**ING contest.

Last time I suggested someone to use the bike for short distances (to prevent the car from drouwning in moisture on 4-off 3 min runs per day!!) I was glad to be on the other side of the phone line.
This realy contributed to my phisical wellfare that day.

FYI: I think I can easily outrun the bike, on long distances that is....

Happy Easter to all,
Spring is there, enjoy

Simple, I havent seen any flames that needed to be put out.

Just when I thought I pi$$ed everyone off and earned one star John gets rid of them. Is there no justice in this cruel world? Whats a poor iconoclast to do these days ?

BTW speaking of pi$$in contests wheres our seinor most junior village idiot lately?

People that tend to bring others down in a bullyish type of fashion tend to be very unhappy themselves.

Well Skip,
Thanks for asking the question. Here we go again. It looks like Craig or GanjaPorsche or whatever his name is this week...is back as "Master Bates". It seems logical to me given the poor syntax and feeble attempt at sarcasm. Having that kid around is like being trapped in the movie "Jaws". Just when you thought it was safe...

Ahh, Imitation the sincerest form of flattery To think a young jerk$$$ plays on my name then trys to be more obnoxious than I. I dont think my daddy would appreciate the feeble attempt at humor at the expense of his name. Come to think of it my cousin Norman wouldnt appreciate it either.

Do I see a young psycho trying to knock me off my soap box trying to steal my coveted title of biggest *** on the board.

That cant be me behind the wall cuz if it was and if I am truly the biggest *** on the board woldnt my big *** would stick out.

Now I need a bad *** make himself the biggest *** and take my title away once again.

Guru indeed.

Hey man, I just wrapped a newspaper 'round my head so I look like I'm deep, can I be the Grand Wazoo? Or at least the Mystery Man?

Edit - Sorry, I guess some of you are too young to remember Frank Zappa.

So how does this Guru, senior user, user thing work again. And why isn't Rennlist Member under my name? I starting to think John D. doesn't want me here, I had to beg them to send me my renewal notice and wound up renewing online.

Pansy garage dwellers? Daily year round driver is more like it. Michelin Alpins really help in that matter.

And how do any of you Senior Users and Gurus have time to drive when you spend most of your time posting to this board?

Weird.

Anyway - senior member and guru don't mean squat if the majority of the posts you've made have been QUESTIONS! (ie. ME).

Anyway...

"Bike" refers to Buell S2, but judging from your responses, I'm pretty sure my daughters Huffy "Barbie edition" with training wheels, squeezy horn, and flower basket would be enough to woop y'all sissies (BTW, smiley's means it's a joke... lots-of-laughs, etc... having a name like Skip entitles me to never be serious for more than 5 seconds at a time... If I break this rule, I'm told my head will implode... flames on a post that's meant to be fun gets under my scales... if only for that aforementioned 5 seconds <-- see there I go again)

The user, senior user, and guru are seemingly based on the number of posts we make... nothing more (I wonder what's after guru... maybe Tabor or Luke will tell us soon ). The stars are gone, but this remains, and clearly may be a sore spot for some. I'll wear my badge proudly, that I have had the opportunity to hone my typing and spelling skills whilst you all were unknowingly a pawn in my devious training game. <-- "oops, I did it again, I played with your ...."

If you want the Rennlist Member treatment, try going over to this thread and say something nice about John, like how sexy he looks in that Rennlist Turtleneck shirt... be sure to list your Rennlist member # too... seems to be working well without hammering him with Emails.

Oh crap, I'm being singled out. I gotta start using more emoticons so people realize I am not trying to be a dick. No wait, maybe I'll change my signature

By the way, how does one get the nickname "Skip" (I am not picking on you)? I understand Chip (chip off the old block) and I know about Chuck (sort of), but I have no idea what Skip is about. Was this your means of locomotion when you were a kid? I have only know two Skips in my life and they were both big fat commercial fishermen in Florida. I also knew a guy whose given name was Junior. Go figure.

Okay, I'm in a sharing mood, so I will...

Real name is Jeromé... most folks can't figure out what the "é" does... changes the pronunciation from "je-rome" to "je-rem-ee", or more commonly "Jeremy". No, I'm not French... my Dad was in the Air Force and on assignment overseas at the time of my birth. My mother wrote and asked what to name me... he wrote back "Jerome". Month's later when he returned to hear my name being pronounced "je-rome", he queried and was told that if he wanted it to be "je-rem-ee" then he had spelled it wrong.

Jump ahead to grade-school... you guessed it... I was a bit hyper, so I garnered the nickname "skippy". True friends never let you forget, so the name stuck through high-school. Jump ahead to the Navy... by chance, a former school-mate was posted to the same duty station, referred to me as "skippy".

Through the years, I was able to partially masculate the nickname and simply be reffered to as "Skip". Makes a great racing alias, and it deters the pronunciation dilemma of whatever Dad meant to name me. I think even he was confused by the turn of events, and simply refers to me as "Son", or something a bit more colorful.

Or, I just made it up as a screen-name You be the judge.
