I know this isn't proper P-car repair.....but here's what you do if you're in a bind and need a flywheel lock. Get a some thick rope large enough to just fit down into the spark plug hole of the #1 cylinder. Put the piston at the bottom of the stroke & feed as much rope as you can down there. Then when you go to loosen the crank bolt, the piston will come up and compress the rope against the cyl head. Once it compresses it enough, it'll lock the motor solid. Then you'll be able to loosen the crank bolt b/c the engine won't turn anymore. Follow me? When I first heard of this, I laughed....until I tried it on my Supra and it worked beautifully. That bolt had 195 ft. lbs. on it for 15 years. I had the crank bolt off in a minute. Do it to tighten the bolt too. You could probably get Baum Tools to overnite you a genuine flywheel lock if you don't like this method.
