We've seen lots of the exterior, but I don't think I'd seen under hood before. Very nice!

I've always heard they were junk? Or at least on an n/a car?
Lindsey racing says they can help prevent a blown headgasket, while the some people I've talked to say a little upper lubrication can't hurt much.
One case I remember seeing on a pontiac gto forum was that a guy had one on his car that caused a low oil pressure light when he was in high rpms. To make a long story short, he took it to the dealer who said that the can caused, "unequal engine pressures."

I got the piece from Lowes and just bent it to fit then painted it.

I have considered buying this catch can a few times, but I had the LR unit on my car for at least 10k+ miles and it never had anything in it. I ditched the LR can and went back to the stock setup for now, but I'm not sure if this catch can would be any different as far as getting anything in it.

Very nice looking car. You have done lots of mods, but it still looks like it could have come that way from the factory!
