Post what size is the crank pulley bolt

i want to get a socket to remove my crank pulley, but i want to do it on the way home and avoid going home to measure and then driving back to the store...

I'm pretty sure it's a 24mm deep socket.

Hey Ben,

It's 24 mm. I'd get a 6-point deep socket...6-point for the 400 lb.-ft. of torque needed to break it loose, and deep, as it yields the perfect spacing.

I have a lug nut soft socket that, when you take out the soft insert, fits the crank pulley perfectly... from underneath. The fan shroud really gets in the way; when it's out, I use a 3/4" drive 11/16" socket!
