Post Shiny muffler

Hi guys,
I was just thinking...instead of going out and buying some shiny muffler tip, is there any way I can polish my stock muffler to give it that same look? What products should I use? I plan to do this on several cars if all goes well..
Anyone ever do this?
Thanks,
Mike

I think you muffler is mild steel. I wouldn't wanna rub any finish off it. It will rust sooner. Try spraying it black with rustoleum. I like that invisible look myself.
