I concur. I thought I was looking at an Integra GS-R.

Well I am looking for a classy way of eliminating my headlights. Maybe I should just leave the buckets empty. I dont care for the GTR kits "that" much. Not on my color. They look great on red and black though.

hey september, don't forget cibie.

in general i've found that 944 enthusiasts are of the more intelligent "car people" in that they beleive not that form follows function, but that true beauty is an artfully formed yet entirely functionally based design. However, these headlight mods (and some others that people have posted about on here) make it clear that there is still a contigent of 944 owners who are just spoiled little rich kids who want people to look at them, and don't care if they spend thousands of dollars reducing the light output of their cars in the progress.

The only way I think unconcealed headlights would work with 944s would be if they were similar to the Nissan 300ZX (or the new NSX).

I like the flippy lights, though. They're very 80's, but neat. They make the car seem happy, and I can spot a 944 at night from a mie away. They're unique, they've got character. Much like the rest of the car.

God I hate Integras.

I like this one, but it needs an intercooler scoop or something to continue the lines

The 300ZX is shaped differently--what I mean is that the entire headlight thing that's there now would be replaced clear, not just two oddly-shapped clear parts and wierd nose scoops. I could be wrong--they may look bad, but the silver one above definately does. Just thoughts.

The silver one has some potential, it's just that the angles are wrong, the lights don't follow the lines of the front end at all. The other two are just butt ugly, makes me want to back the truck into 'em so I could put the car out of it's misery.

[quote] Read this: Acceptable headlight mods begin and end with Hella or Bosch H-4's.

I'd add Cibie and the GTR style.

The blue one was advertised on ebay a long long time ago (back when i first was enamored by the 944.....so at least a year ago). The starting bid was around 30k iirc, and he had some extensive work done to the interior of the car and engine bay. He had the blue plugs and some pretty badass piping underneath iirc. I dont think he sold it to anyone on the boards because of the negative feedback it got. But then again....some lurker could be out there whose really afraid to come forward because of the negative comments made back when the car was for sale.

The pop-ups may make the 924/944 look happy, but the headlights on the 924 Carrera GTS just look mean! GRRRR!!!

I like the 924 GTS lights...I wanna know where to get a pair of good quality ones. I've heard there's some kits out there that are crappy and come with no hardware or anything to bolt them up
