Default Does the oil filter housing from an S2/968 fit the 2.5 block?

Anyone how knows?
They have different part numbers but appear to fit either block.

Would be good to know if someone already knew, so I won't need to spend time to try it myself

I have not tried a swap, but I have had both units in my hands, and I think it can be swapped. You would need the housing as well as the short little oil pipe that has the two o-rings on it. And the hoses, etc.

The gaskets are the same for both...

I don't see a reason you couldn't do it

Yes it does. I put an S2 housing on my 83 block.

Yep checked it today and it should be fine.
The little bushing and an early OPRV and it should be good to go..

Good to know. Did you transfer the bushing and got an updated OPRV as well? The bushing seems a bit difficult to remove without damaging it.

Anyone got P/N on the little oilpipe/bushing that needs to be transferred?
