Default Black Wheels

My cookie cutter rims on my 944 are oxidized and corroded almost beyond repair, I am painting the car soon and i want to get the rims decent looking, I'm thinking I might try painting the wheels gloss black, Maybe sand blast the outside ring and just scuff up the inside black and paint it all gloss black. Does anyone have or know of any pictures of gloss jet black cookie cutter rims so i know what it looks like before i paint them?

Well i found lots of information on cookie cutters. I'm selling the car so changing them to something other than stock is risky because poeple may not like it. They can't stay the way they are there horrible, i wish i had a pic to show you what i mean, there really badly corroded. I hit them with a scotchbrite pad on a die grinder, 5 pads later and 15 minutes i had 2 inches done lol. Maybe blasting will clean them up enough to polish?

sand paper or paint stripper will work faster than that.

if you plan on selling the car, then just paint them the original style with some kind of semi-gloss black in the center, and polishing the rim if you can.
