My drop arms are both broken. My wife calls it the 'kneecapper' after a bad pothole.

No no, they wear A driving GLOVE, like Michael Jackson. The other one goes in the glove box.

I actually call it a glove compartment (it's not really a box, eh?). It's still a sunroof at night, it's still a bumper in today's $200,000 whiplash lawsuit world, it's still an e-brake if there's no emergency, and how many times has it really been a hazard when you hit your hazards? A lot of names are questionable !

What about the TRUNK? it has not been a trunk for quite a few years.

as a side note my father, for some unknown reason has always called it the GLOVE DEPARTMENT

LOL arizonans are crazy.

I keep a pair of leather driving gloves in my box at all times. Also keep a pair of larrrge orange lensed hunting glasses, when its necissary to backdate myself to the 80's....or just reduce glare...
