I use Clark's site as a reference way too often ... I am up for donating some cash if need be. I can also host the site for him if necessary (free).

Has anyone heard from him or have contact information?

hmm... wonder if I should mirror the site simply as a way of providing an archive.

I've got some server space if anyone needs to put a mirror archive up somewhere. I know it's a very important reference for me, I'd hate to see it disappear one day!

Yes! The resource must be saved.

I'll be happy to mirror it also. If anybody can hook me up with an archive copy, I'll gladly put it on my server.

If he'd accept it i'd also donate to the site. If he's still looking for pictures i'll gladly send some in if it comes back up.

Good idea, but definitely get an "OK" from the current site "owner" since he's the copyright holder. I too would be willing to pay for server space.

I don't know if it's been said but it's only the domain name that expired, he needs to renew it.

Domain Name:clarks-garage.com
Record last updated at 2007-01-30 19:34:15
Record created on 2002/4/5
Record expired on 2008/4/5

Did someone send him an e-mail about this? They do list a hotmail account in whois

I just got into the site. I'd pay $100.00/year to access it, rather than lose it, it's a must for me and many others I'd think. Lost count of how many times I've logged on during working on the 944.
Why don't we e-mail Clark and tell him how much we appreciate his site, which is invaluable!

Damn, I got into Clark's Garage, got out to post here, tried to get back in to tell Clark how much we appreciate him, no joy.
Sincerely hope he gets his site back up, as we all do....
Mike
