Clark has been very inactive on the board. I bet his last post was over a year ago. Hopefully he will continue to keep the site up, but who knows.

Good, at least someone has it. I can host it on my server for free if all things fail and Clarke dosn't mind.

Just yesterday, as I was cleaning up from putting a new radiator in, I was thinking it would be cool to print out all of the articles from clarks and put in a binder to have in the garage.

It's called DNS (domain name resolution)

Depending on your provider.. *if* it's DNS (which is the typical culprit) it could be weeks before your ISP honors the TTL and fixes it.

Fun stuff.. I love it when clients have old DNS, and a fraud domain my team has taken off-line still resolves for them because the Bot hosthing it still on that IP, which has been cleared out of some jack-*** ISP's DNS cache...

Or maybe they just got lucky and it's SUPPOSED to be parked and the old IP/DNS is still working in 1/2 the country.. LOL.

Ugh.. time for me to go to sleep.

Last time this happened (which was more recently than 2002), I e-mailed Clark and offered to send some money. He said there is no need, and asked that I send pictures of work that I do to the car, so he can use them on the site. That said, if he would like help paying for the site, I'm in as well.

I invited him to come to a 'Fest as a guest of honor. He's done more for all of us than can be imagined. I'd sure love to shake his hand someday.
