Default ArnnWorx Rear Wheel Bearing Tool

I'm going to be replacing my rear wheel bearing soon, and will need one of these. Considering most people will only need to use it once in a blue moon... does anyone have one they'd be interested in selling to me for less than the cost of new?

Any other tips/notes about this task I should know?

Allan (amjf088) was selling one a few weeks ago, I don't know if he sold it or not though.

Scott,

I don't think I want to sell mine, but if you want to pay shipping back and forth, I'll send it to you to use. PM me and we can figgure things out.

You'll also need a slide-hammer type of axle puller. I borrowed a set from the local auto parts store. The only other trick was that I had to cut the old bearing half off the stub axle. Since it's hardened, it took a cut off wheel on the grinder. You will destroy the current bearing in the process.

With the Arnworks tool, you can press the new bearing in very easilly.

My experience was much like John's. I made do with a different hub puller, the kind with a threaded rod that presses against the axle (the CVs need to still be on). And for cutting off the bearing race that will be stuck to the hub, I used a dremel.

The arnnworx tool is fantastic.
**FYI - you will need two 1" sockets, at least one of them will need to be a deep socket.
