Are these rotors useable?
I bought a set of used rotors but im beginning to be concerned at the vast amount of rust found of them. I took them to NAPA to get them turned but the guy at the front desk said that they were below minimum spec to turn according to their book. Could these rotors be used w/o turning or has the amount of rust gone too far to deem them useable? These pictures after a wirewheeled the mounting surfaces for about 20 minutes. What concern me the most is where the rotor mounts to the hub.

I know it's not wise to throw money away but, I look at it like this.
When I have to make a decision about what to replace/what not to replace I tend to ask myself "will I die if this fails?"
If the answer is yes, I usually error to the side of caution.
If the rotors are worn to the point that they can't be turned and they have an alarming/qustionable amount of rust on them. Maybe the should be replaced.
Rotors are only about $100 each.

They look pretty far, but the most important thing is: if you would brake hard on them once or twice would they be smooth again?
We once had a rusted piston (inside piston on a 2 piston caliper) on our volvo (my mom RARELY brakes) and replaced it without changing the disc. The result was we ate through the inside pad within 2 months because the rust had pitted the surface too much.
