Default new turn signals cause lights to flicker fast

I put on some different rear turn signals. they are two bulb trailer type.
and now the lights work but they flicker signaling me a bulb is out.

Sometimes a light-duty flasher will flash too fast if it's used with a multi-bulb rear lighting system like an old Pontiac, or with a trailer. Too many bulbs = too much current running through the flasher, which makes it flash too fast. The cure is a heavy-duty flasher.

I found that by searching the internet. will any heavy duty flasher fit in the 944 relay spot? Im assuming a flasher relay is a flasher relay is a flasher relay?

Some people may call chopping a porsche apart a fruitless project.

I think you are learning valuable lessons that you will use the rest of your "car tinkering" life.

I learned the same referenced in your post putting custom tow lights on a 91 saturn to tow behind my motorhome.
