Unhappy Side market gasket question

Ok, just got off the phone with 944online.com and I wanted to get the gasket's for the front and rear side marker's on my car. It is small cheap piece of rubber that most of you toss or you don't even notice but I am thinking Porsche has it there so why not put it back in. Anyways they tell me that they have to order them from Porsche and they go for 30.00 each. Now most of the rubber parts the Porsche has are very specific so I understand some of the pricing but for what I would call a rubber ring to keep water out at 120.00 for probably $0.12 worth of rubber is crazy.

So I ask all of you is there another way to go or some other place to buy these for a better price? I would like to put some kind of protection between the lens and the body to protect the paint and keep water out but at 30.00 a pop I would rather make the rubber pieces and hope for the best.

I would ask one of the guys parting cars.
I bet you could find someone to give you one for the price of shipping.

That, or buy some rubber material from mcmaster.com and cut out your own gasket.
