Default Are 931 and 944 hoods the same, other than the scoop?

Good Day,

A PO installed what looks like a 931 hood on my '86 944 NA, leaving me without the ability to mount a strut brace, as it interferes with the bottom of the hood scoop. Can anyone tell me if the 931 and 944 hoods are interchangeable? If so, would anyone in southern Ontario have a graphite 944 hood that they would be willling to trade? Mine is in excellent condition - yours must be as well (not looking to have to repaint it). I can provide pictures if needed.

Thanks,
Ross.

944 fanatic had a 931 hood on his '87, and I believe he said that the only differences were the intake duct and the fact that the 931 hood doesn't have provisions for the hood strut. Otherwise, I believe it's a direct swap.
