Default 951 rear valance on a NA

I bought a 951 rear valance to install on my NA. My car is white, and the valance is like graphite grey. I know it would be best to have the valance painted to match, but what do you giys think about installing it w/o painting it? just wanted to get some feedback.

thx!

Hey martin944 - if you just want to get it on the car - consider getting 'white appliance epoxy' spray paint from home depot, I believe its made by rustoleoum. The finish is durable enough to last for quite a while in automotive use, and would get the valence to the right color as a quick fix if you dont want to hassle with paying someone to shoot it. After you are done shooting, wetsand with 1000 grit, and youll be suprised with the results!!

The right way to do it though would be to wetsand and use automotive grade white...

Paint it. Also, if you have an early car be prepared to drill some holes on the under body.
