Ive got another question that I hadnt seen answered yet.

Are there any increases or decreases in fuel economy using this setup?

You were talking about keeping the cannister. It would not serve a real purpose and I guess I was having a hard time why you would want to keep it if nothing were going to be drawn through it since there was no vacuum to help it purge. My bad.

No gain in fuel economy. The whole reason we have these systems is because of the Cali-****'s not wanting unburnt fuel (HC's) being released directly to the atmosphere.

It wont have any effect on fuel economy, it is there just to stop venting of HC's to the atmosphere. It should vent under part throttle, crusiing conditions. The idea is that the Canister stores the HC vapors till you are crusing then allows them to flow back into the intake to be burned.

Anyone have any underhood pics of a removed system?
I know it normally does nothing to remove these systems but if it cleans up a bit I just may. The underhood of the turbo is so jam packed as it is I could use a little less crap floating around in the engine bay

Dug up an old thread.
a couple before/after pictures and
That looks like a clean solution. Did you also use a vented cap or is that redundant?
as shiners 780 mentioned no vented fuel cap required.

I've looked through all of the evap delete threads that I could find and have a question.. I looked at the lines coming from tank to the front of the car and it appears that there are 3. A braided looking line, a rubber line going from the pump/filter and a 3rd rubber line (coming from the upper part of the tank). From everyone's accounts of putting a vent filter back there, it appears that the "other" black rubber hose would the be one the could fit the 1/2" filter I bought. Could someone please confirm?
