Default Tbelt tensioner stud

Where do I buy a new one? I can't seem to find it on 944online, pelican, or paragon.

Thanks to anyone who can throw me a link on that one!

I could swear these are the exact same things as exhaust studs... at least they are for the spring loaded tensioner.

If... you know someone that has a account with World Pac, they carry them. Also... vertex has them, but you have to call.

Are you talking about the one prone to failure on the 86 models? What year is your car?

There was discussion of this on Clarks garage, the part number listed is: 94410221601, which is an oil pump stud.

I emailed Jamie at 944 online, and they told me that it is exactly the same as the exhaust manifold stud.

I'm ordering two... I know I'll be replacing it again eventually.
And phil... It is an 86, and I never knew before that this stud was known to fail. Learn the hard way I guess.

Ok just in case anyone searches this.

The exhaust studs are not even CLOSE to the oil pump stud! It is about half the size of what is needed.

I was thinking the same thing. So what is the correct part to use on the 1986 tensioner, the oil pump stud or the exhaust stud?
Are we all talking about the same tensioner?

The links and part number you posted, phil, were absolutely correct. Oil pump stud.
