I believe there is a small snap ring that you need to take the the spline. That kept me hung up for an hour or two trying to figue out how the hell it was still stuck on there.

+1. Make sure the washer behind the snap ring goes back on the right way and sits in the groove. (Flat side facing front of car.)

Let me get the conversion parts ready after I finish the car I am currently working on. I should be ready by today. Let me know when you are ready. The only thing I don't have is a spring centered clutch disc if you are doing what I think you are doing.

I'm ready for the stuff whenever you are. But you don't need to rush. I just took the engine out because I have a timing belt breakage problem to fix
Also. I don't need a clutch i have one.

As for that snap ring. I cant get the thing out! It doesn't have any room to expand. It is crammed into a collar. Can I just destroy that damn ring somehow?! Or is there some trick to this snap ring?

All I need is the pedal assembly to complete it. Let me know when you are ready.
