He can't go with CGT flares unless he scraps the entire body package and starts over. Those are no ordinary 944 / CGT arches on that car. Those are the ultra wide body flares modeled after the original Holbert-style IMSA body package. They measure 75" at the arches, and can accommodate up to 12" of rubber in the back. There are two versions of the ultra wide body, the one from GT racing which has the boxed rear quarters, and the one from AIR, which integrates the rear quarters back into the rear of the car. My race car project has the AIR set up.

The louvers might be a bit of overkill, but with some tasteful paint and graphics you might even be able to turn them into an asset. You might want to compare notes with my 931 ultra wide body project.

Also, I have an extra stroker crank and an extra set of the custom 8:1 cr pistons (non-interference design, ceramic tops, teflon skirts, from Diamond racing). Let me know if you're interested. Cheers and good luck!
