Looks like a nice car.

I must admit that I prefer my alpine white over black sunroof delete 951 more though

Be thankful for those plastic gears, they did that so the gears would break before something else. Its much easier and cheaper to replace those plastic gears then some of the other components of the sunroof.

Yeah the 968 they have is about the same price with a few more miles. The price is only for collectors I guess, but who exactly collects 944s and lets them sit?

A lot of people collect 968s and let them sit. Come on people, these are Porsches, they are meant to be driven; they're not Ferraris.

That's an 83 Mazda race car, http://www.motorcarinvestments.com/c...php?car_id=707. Evidently the guy that owns it wants a fortune for it like 100K. I've seen it and talked to a few folks and most think the owner wants way too much. BTW it's on consignment.

Oh and if anyone in the greater Raleigh area is looking for a great Porsche shop, European Performance is the shop. They share the building with Motorcarinvestments. BTW, here's me and my 951, http://www.motorcarinvestments.com/p...php?car_id=649

I almost bought that car! I remember driving it and thinking, "wow the steering effort is like a normal car." This is when the only 944 I had driven was mine and a couple others, all with leaky PS pumps and frozen tie rods, etc. That car was nice. Has it given you any trouble? Said it had just had all sorts of rebuilds. Only problem I saw was it looked like there was a bit of a gap around the splitter/bumper...

We're on a 944 board. I think he thought we all understood "great Porsche you can afford shop"

I mean, one day I will roll over there in my 944 and trade it in on a GT3, mark. Just not anytime soon.

The previous owner did about $7500 worth of work, PS, turbo, wastegate, exhaust manifold are things I remember off the top of my head. You are right the bumper guard is loose on one side.

I've recently had a run of things, crankshaft pulley, oil filter stand gasket and cv joints all cropped up about the same time. I did have to put new tires on it and I put in a 951max chip, K&N panel air filter, a couple of vac lines, several sunroof gears and a new shifter. All in all I am loving the car!

Well, I guess you're lucky I bought my old hunk of junk before I saw that car.

Me, not so much. Definitely could have bought your car for what I've put into mine. Oh well, you learn.

That would be a fob that labels the key for the car it goes to. I used those things all the time at the dealership I worked at.

If not that, then its simply a rubber piece that has something clever printed on it.
