I will have a route mapped out that should be just about what we did last october...I don't plan on beating on my car since it has to pass tech on monday for DE.

Since I'll not be pushing my car in advance of the tech on monday, anyone who wants to lead the drive is more than welcome. Suggest a few of us swap cell phone #'s during lunch tomorrow....a few folks got lost last time..

I'm afraid I'm going to have to bag out on you for tomorrow. The fact that it won't be optimum weather is just the icing on the cake. I actually took today off to finish my interior. Unfortunately this is the current status:



I also recovered the seats in new black leather. I really wanted to have it done, but it didn't work out that way.
I might have been able to finish tonight, but I don't want to rush it and screw something up.

Damn! That looks nice. I'm due for a top-end refresh but I doubt it's going to look that nice.

Are you guys going to anything else soon? How about the DE at Pocono or the Hershey thing?

Sorry you guys won't make it....I am starting to have second thoughts about the drive, since the weather is back to flurries .

Mike...I will be at the Pocono DE as well as Hershey. My son and I do the Hershey thing together...just us....he's 6 and has already been to 4 swapmeets!

Very cool! I'm not sure if I'll make the DE. I never got off the wait list so I canceled the other day. I might make it up one day just to check it out. I'm planning to go to Hershey for the first time though and I'm bringing the wife. Hope to see you there!

Now, back out to the garage to get this interior done...

If your wife likes the spa-thing...send her over to Hotel Hershey while you walk the swap...it's what mine used to do when she'd come with me. But if you want to do this I'd make the spa appointment now!

I am planning on taking the ride out to Hershey on the 26th. But ive been saying that the past 4 years now!

Well it turned out to be a beautiful day! It was a small turnout but fun none the less! And we got to see Anthony's track car...nice!

The ride was nice, but unfortunately one of the best roads in the park was closed....not to mention the fact that I missed the skyline drive exit off 287!

We ended up taking skyline drive home after driving thru 7-lakes drive....not the blistering speed from the last meet but it was lots of fun!

Thanks to those that came...I'll put a thread up here in a week or so regarding another one in May.....I am thinking maybe for that one we should maybe pick another route....maybe up along the palisades, across the bear mountain bridge, etc....suggestions welcome!
