My brother and I managed to push car to my mom's garage at Christmas. I've finally given up on this not starting problem and tried to have it towed to a mechanic, but now we cant even push it out of the garage because the passenger rear wheel is stuck. We had some pretty cold weather since we were able to push it.
Any suggestions? I was thinking of getting a large c-clamp to compress the piston and pull the pads away from the rotor.

arrgh.
any pics? I'm assuming it's in the only hole that there is on the face of the hub. I couldnt see anything to engage with a screwdriver in there though. It didnt help that I missed that you said use a philips but still, couldnt see anything that a screwdriver could engage.

It's a flathead on my 944 (85.5, should be the same through out). Easier to take the rotor off if you can and see how it works. Better yet, pull the rotor on driver side, look at it, then adjust on passenger side. Might be a heck of a fight to get the rotor off on passenger side.
