Default ABS ring fitment on new hubs

I'm installing new hubs (Racers Edge) on my S2. I pressed the ABS ring off the factory hub. I expected to heat the ring, and slide it onto the new hub while cold. However, the ring easily slides over the hub while both are at ambient temp. It seems to me that the ring is loose. How tight is the ring supposed to be on the hub?

Thanks..

Not sure about fitment, but better make sure that ring isn't magnetic at all... I do know later (and I'm taking 2005 and/or later) ABS systems have a magnetic "tone ring" (the sensor ring you're referring to - or sometimes this is built into the wheel bearings)... and if you heat the magnet, I believe you can compromise its magnetic properties. And once those properties are compromised, they can lead to odd sensor dropouts or system failures/malfunctions. BTDT.

Again, probably not a concern here, just had to throw it out there for posteriority. Sorry, can't speak to the fitment on these cars...
