Default Anyone mount 996 10 spoke wheels?

Looking to see if anyone has photos of OEM 17 inch 996 10 spoke wheels mounted onto a 944 or 968 and if you needed spacers. I think the front may but would like to know from someone who has them on. A local guy has a set for sale with new Potenza S-02 A tires and new colored caps for $1,500...just thinking about it. Thanks.

On your late offset car, you might need very small slide on spacers. I have a set of 10 spokes in my garage for my car, but it is an 86 early offset and uses larger spacers.

Yes they fit, my son has them on an '87 944S.

Slight shim, about 5mm on the front only and it's only needed because the 996 wheel's center cap is concaved and would otherwise not seat in the wheel center fully due to the wheel bearing hub grease cap which is convexed.

Hey....btw, search for threads by my son's user name, 87_944S.

There should be plenty pics of his coral red car with those wheels.

Yes they do require very small spacers in the front as stated by the old guy.

Hey Porsche Doc, can you tell me what I have to do to fit 996 10 spokes to an 86 build 944?

Thanks,
Delian.
