Finally got the daughter a 44. Found a nice 85.5 automatic. Having one problem, that I can not find the problem. One early morning cold starts, it is flooding out. It tries to fire, but is flooded. I start it using the full throttle open method, and it will eventully start. I don't touch the throttle, till I know for sure that it is flooded. After it starts, and all the excess fuel clears out, runs great. What ya think.......

Just a wild guess, but since it starts better with the throttle wide open, the air/fuel mixture could be too rich. Since you say it makes a difference whether the engine is cold or warm, I would look at the engine temperature sensor. The DME reads the engine temperature sensor to determine how much to enrich the fuel/air mixture. Might also check the fuel pressure and the TPS.

What I was going to say...maybe check your fuel pressure regulator? My 280ZX has the same issue and I have traced it to a leaky injector.
Does it do the same thing after you have parked the car and it has cooled off but is still warm?
