I think that either weekend and either day is fine for me although I might have a conflict develop for the earlier weekend.

If mine has renewed plates by then, count me in! I'll need to know about a week in advance, though...I've been crazy busy with school...

Hey Josh! I've been busy...Georgia Tech is like a blackhole of excitement.

So unfortunately, work and school have gotten in the way of keeping the car progress on track. We did, however, order a new clutch (yay!) and all the little odds and ends to really get it all buttoned up. It's just a matter of finding time for me to do everything. I'm STILL dreading the headliner install, and haven't had the weather/time concordance to actually do it. Oh, and the parents let the tags expire...so even if I want to drive it around...I can't...If it's not one thing, it's another :: I'll definitely be in for a romp through the mountains though, regardless of the condition of the interior of the car and I'll make sure I renew the tags soon. I have faith it'll be nice to me and not die up there, this time too!

I can do either the 2nd or the 9th. So what is a typical mountain drive like. I have had my car for 3 yrs and I have not taken to the mountains even once.

We usually let one of the safer guys take the lead and set the pace when we hit up the mountains. Everyone else follows and enjoys the twisties.
Just make sure you top off your oil, check your tire pressures, and check your shift linkage (funny story behind that) and youll have a good time.
Oh, and of course wash and wax it...

Oh, might want to make sure your alternator isn't dead, and your "actung" light is working too...another fun story there...

Hey, boys -- are we gonna do this?

Some of us poor college kids work Sunday mornings and have to ask off :-P

I haven't made it to any of the Atlanta drives, but would love to make it out for this one. The 968 hasn't had any fun in a while. I think I could make March 8th or 9th.
