Default 87 944 na The Fire comes and goes

Not really sure what the problem is but, my car will start up run maybe 15 sec or 5 min then just stop. Then I will try and start it 5-10 times and no fire then bam it will fire up and go for whatever time then it will stop. There is 12 volts going to the coil the positive side as in the ignition side and we have tried two crank sensors that has no effect. Please help give me your thoughts

Go out to the AFM and make sure that wire is connect, and if its connected. Wiggle it a bunch. Sounds like the AFM is acting up.

If that doesnt work, try opening up the afm and poking at the flapper door. This happened to me once and my AFM flapper door was jammed.

Its the little metal box that the plastic airbox in the front of the engine connects to. It has a black plastic square cover.

Try tapping on it firmly, and then try wiggling the plug that is connected to it.
