This will be difficult to describe but I will do my best.
The problem I am having is that the engagement point of the clutch has actually changed. I think it has something to do with the linkage.
When I go to put the clutch in there is no resistance until closer to the firewall. I can get the car into gear but once I let the clutch out I can not engage it again. I have to hit the brakes and the car stalls. The pedal sticks at the point where it engages.
So I guess there is some slack somewhere in the linkage that isn't being taken up. I am not familiar with the clutch linkage. Is it a cable? I was thinking about finding it and just spraying some WD40 on it.
Thanks in advance,
Alex

check for oil leaking from master cylinder under the dash.
check for oil leaking from the slave cylinder.
check the blue line connecting the master to the resevoir and the line connecting the master to the slave.
make sure your brake/clutch fluid resevoir is between the max and min lines.
I had a simular problem, and it was my master cylinder. It had no obvious signs of failure (like leaking, binding, etc.).

Ok thanks for the replies guys. I will look under the dash tomorrow and see if I can find anything.
Does anyone have pictures of what I am looking for?
Thanks,
Alex

well when you crawl under your dash, it will just be wet on the carpet behind the clutch pedal if the master cylinder is leaking there. so you can kind of just feel your hand around and see if shes wet

Probably the slave cylinder and it won't show a leak. Good news it's an easy and cheap fix.

Try replacing it? It's a 50/50 chance... and they say both cylinders always die within months of each other, so it might be worthwhile to replace both.
To verify that ONE of your cylinders IS the culprit, get under the car and watch the slave piston pushing the clutch fork as a helper presses the pedal. If the fork does not move all the way like it should, then there is an internal leak somewhere indicating a cylinder failure.
