Mines not working either. I hear the motor going but the latches don't release. Sometimes I'll get lucky and one of them will release, but I always end up using the key. If you figure something out let me know.

Oh well now I feel stupid... I just went out to take another look at it, and one of the wires was not connected on one side... Oops.

Mine does the same thing, I think. The only way I can open mine is if I have the key. Or if I have somebuddy lift up on the trunk, when I hold down the switch.

if you can see the latches being pulled back to release the pins, the pins aren't adjusted correctly.
if no movement, electrical.

have someone push the button.

it's trial/error, if too loose, they don't latch, too tight, they won't release and you have to find the happy medium.

I was about to suggest looking at the wires near the hatch. My release button only releases one side of the hatch but thats because the other side isn't connected. Took a few long minutes before I saw that one.
