Default MAF Conversion from lindsey Racing

My 86 951 just received its new air induction system, Stage 2 MAF with the power perfect tuner from lindsey Racing. I have the car tuned. Just wondering if anyone else has the same system because somedays the car runs well and the next day runs very lean sometimes of the Air/fuel gauge. Just wondering if anyone has some info.
Thanks.

do you have a narrow band or wideband a/f gauge?

Default MAF tuning

It's a narrow band guage with a narrow band O2 sensor, Have not upgraded to the wide band system, I tuned the car on a Dyno with a digital air/fuel gauge hooked to it also. Gave me better ideas on the ratios

We use an SDS EM4 on our 928 (www.sdsefi.com) and soon on the 944 too. We messed around with a narrowband sensor for a few weeks which was hopeless so we bought a wideband one. Within 1 hour after installing that the car was running on 13:1 across the whole range on all throttle positions, give or take 0.2 and we could use the closed loop option (active fuel control) too for the economy.
Narrowband sensors don't have the resolution to handle closed loop feedback for the fuel control, you have to turn that off (if that system has that option) or buy a wideband sensor.
