I think they were standard.

No, the pink car runs silver wheels lol

I think I actually know where your wheels came from. Gal ran them on a silver 996 I've seen at VIR a few times. Right?

That's probably the car. It was a 996, it was a lady who drove it (obviously), and it was in Virginia. I don't know what color the car was, but how many 996's could there be in VA with pink wheels?

I would use these as track wheels if they weren't so big. With a 17X7 on front and a 17X9 on the back, my car would push like a bulldozer. I was going to refinish these for street/cruising wheels and use my 15" phone dials for track/auto-x wheels.

I like the Pepto-Bismol idea though.

OK, here's what two hours of my time and a $10 can of stripper got me. The rest should go more quickly now that I know what to do and what not to do.

I feel more masculine already.

Cool, it looks like you're going to end up with some sweet rims (for a really good price, I bet)!

The ad said "perfect for the next gay pride parade or breast cancer benefit", and they do not disappoint. It's a shame, because the finish on them is just about perfect, not a scratch on them. If I was EXTREMELY secure in my manhood (or a flaming queen), I'd leave them as is, but I just don't have it in me.

So, how hard is it to paint over powdercoat? Will paint stick to it if it's properly roughed up, or am I going to have to strip/sandblast them down to bare metal?
Holy Sh*t! They look like they are made of plastic. Get that paint stripper out ASAP!

It's too late since Dan stripped them, but I'd like to see how they'd look on a white or black race car. They might bring some flash to the track! Where are all the photoshop guys?

You could have matching number, Pepto Bismal as a sponser... You missed a good bet there.
