Default Emissions in Atlanta

Hey Atlanta Folks. Where can I take my 86 951 for emissions? I'm having my SFR 3 inch exhaust installed tomorrow with the cat, so I hope it passes. Anything else I should have my mechanic check to make sure it passes?

Thanks,

Chris

where you located, north side, east side? I have 2 1980's vintage that still need inspections and so far so good.

Is the cat new?

If it is, you shouldn't need to worry about passing - take it anywhere that has the dyno. Those should be marked "All Cars Welcome." If it's marginal, you have 30 days to fix & retest (for free at the same location) or find a better testing location.

Here's a link for all testing locations

Hope this helps!

I have used Herberts in Cumming and Wayne's in Suwanne for both of my older cars (1985 & 1988).

Thanks guys. The cat is brand new as well as the rest of the exhaust. I am also having the O2 sensor checked to make sure it works properly.

i adjust this nut on the MAF all the way out then go through inspection in NJ and then i pass. Apparently i dont need a cat either. Not that that is much help.
