What would these need to fit right on an '87?

Ordered 2 sets staggered. I am tempted to order 4 sets instead.

these are probably made of slag.

I would never put something like this on a track car for fear of it suddenly fracturing. That being said, for cruising it couldn't hurt at that price....

I would never use these for the track anyways since they are 18s. For a street car, they are perfectly fine. America's tire company and discount tires don't sell junk. Heck, they don't even install used tires older than 3 years even if they look like new for liability reasons so I can't imagine them selling junk.

Would these wheels fit onto a 86 or 87 944? I heard there is a difference in the offset between these years, could someone please enlighten me? Danka!

Yeah, starting in 87. In a previous post someone stated that these fit the later car offset. Though, they should fit an early offset with spacers.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think these wheels are used, hence the low price. Discount has warehouses around the country w/ piles of wheels that people take off their car in exchange for newer ones.

I'm actually gonna go and inspect a boxster S wheel that just came in from one of these warehouses. so yeah -- I think they're used pieces. I'll ask one of my buddies who work there.

These are brand new. They don't sell used sets on their website as you can only buy take offs at their specific store location and changes everyday. They only had 1 18x8 so I bought 4 rears and 1 front. $255.20 for all 5 new wheels shipped so I will get it by next week and no tax.
