Severe cold start problem - more
I posted about this several weeks ago but the problem is worse. Archives don't seem to have any info. What happens is when the car is cold it must be cranked for as much as sveral minutes until I get a weak sputter with 1 or cylinders firing. After a minute or two the 3 cylinder will fire and finalyy the 4th with the car running fine. Today, however, it only ran on three cylinders even when warm.
I've replaced cap&rotor, DME temp sensor, plugs, and reference sensors. Also gone through all the vacuum connections. Injectors are not leaking.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I had a similar problem in the past and eventually the car wouldn't start at all.
Have you checked/replaced the spark plugs?
What about fuel pressure?
How are the ignition wires and fuel injector harness?
How are the engine harness side connectors for the speed/ref sensors? Mine looked "OK" but underneath the rubber boot all the wires were touching
Are you blowing any smoke out of the exhaust on startup? Loosing any coolant ?
In my case it was the speed/ref sensor harness. I had the same problem on an old 85 N/A and my 87 Turbo
