You may just need a repacking as a previouys poster has indicated. These cvs do dry up especially the drivers side from heat from the exhaust...I repacked mine when ihad had my NA and all was well.

yeah, this one will most likely NOT be rebuildable. i ordered a rebuilt half shaft off of kragen for 76, plus a core.
OF course, i come to find out today that a local shop has some slightly used legitimate german axles sitting around (the guy switches them out after every enduro he runs) and he wants very little for them. i can't wait a week for the new axle, so i'll just pick one up tomorrow from this guy and possibly send back the new one (anyone know about the return shipping?)
