Question Shops near Nasville

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum although I have been coming here and reading posts for some time now and figured it is time to join this great community. I have a question. Does anyone know of a good machine shop near Nashville, TN (or for that matter anywhere in the Southeast) that I can send my 2.7 head to and have it decked and an idea of the cost? I would be willing to ship it to a reputable shop that anyone has experience with. Also, just how tight are the tolerances on the flatness of the head. I am very familiar with tool and die work (machining) and .05mm or .0019 thousandths seems to be somewhat of overkill when you take into consideration of the length of the head. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in Nashville also. I'm a old dog here on the list, been around since 02. I buy wrecked 944's and part them out, and buy non-running cars and put them back on the road for others to enjoy. I have a ton of parts!!!
I have a machine shop that I use that is in west Nashville. They do a great job. I will send you a pm with my contact info.
