Has anyone done this? I though for sure it could be done, but I called a shop near me that works on Porsche and was told continuously that it couldnt be done and some kind of mechanism wouldnt fit. is this true? I thought most 944 handles were interchangable?

I have them on my early 85 so it is certainly possible, I don't think the early lock cylinders will fit so you will have to re-key the ones from the later handles...but shouldn't an 85.5 already have the late handles?

Mine has the same handles as my 87 did, but these handles are strange, where the script should be its a strange woodgrain pattern almost.
