Question about 6 lb torqueing w/o a torque wrench on oil pan

We used a 1/4 socket on all of the bolts with a universal. You have to use short sockets, but we were able to torque all of them in this method. 1/4" is the only socket that will fit into the 4 corner long bolt slots. A few choice words and a whole lot of patience and a smaller torque wrench. We actually did find a ft/lb torque wrench that started at 5 lbs at Tractor Supply and it worked great. Amazing how close we were after hand tightening and then checking with the torque wrench. 20 hours on your back on and off a creeper is the pits.
