Not bad for a brush ! overall i 'am happy with the results. hopefully it will hold up in the season. I added some more pics of the seat, harness and console installation. i also the added a shot of the center dash speaker where i am thinking of mounting my side net. Now a weight question for the guys that have already built -- Is there anyway to get down to 24 -2500lbs without really hacking up the car ??
thanks again !

yep That looks Great ! My 944-spec 924S is close to 2400 lbs, no driver no fuel, as for hacking it up . I would say not much.

My 84 944 was 2631 lbs with me in the car last time at the track.

that incudes 30lbs of ballast and couple gallons of gas.

I am 160lbs so take away 190lbs and My car is 2440lbs or so. That is with a passenger's seat, full size battery, 10lbs fire system and both side door glass still in place. Also the mouting for my passenger's seat is a bit robust since I needed to make weight anyway. As for gutting. The car still has all the undercoating, but everything bolted in is gone where ever possible. The 924S uses the same early chassis as my 84 so should be not problem getting to mid 2400lb range.
