Race Car
Thanks guys. Many people on this list have helped me and definitely Michael and Joe along with a host of others. Joe, hows married life? Let me know when you are in town next time.
Michael, I think you got this all reversed. Thanks for helping me for 6 hours moving everything from parts, parts cars, scooby doo vans, non running (supposedly running) cars, and the 944 in the back of the yard to your nephew on top of clearing another space in the yard and giving me a ride back after getting the car to your nephew.
Thanks for clearing another space by taking on the burgundy car as a spec car build and resurrect another car sitting in limbo instead of another home for cats and mice.
Thanks for helping me take some of these parts cars apart and anyone who knows how to change a clutch on a 951 requires little "teaching" on fixing anything on a 944.
Thanks for trading me the BBS wheels for the fuchs and enduring everything from rude drunken musclehead Samoan neighbor to lack of parking in the neighborhood (due much to my vehicles which all fit in my yard now other than the 25ft minibus towing a 24ft enclosed trailer totaling the length of a semi).
One of these days, you will have to teach me how you got generic autozone gauges to work in a 944.

Frank's a great guy - I met him in 2004 before I moved to Chicago, when he still had his condo. He gave me a headlight bar assembly, I got to watch him do 1/2 of a head gasket job at warp speed.

Chuck, I am a long way from both completing my car (haven't even picked it up yet) and getting licensed. I would like to have it out in the springtime to start taking driving more seriously. So, car ready this spring, race ready next year. Chris (Genikz) has been kind enough to let me ride in his set-up to curtail blowing up my 944 (DD), but it is time for me to have my own. Is that event at Miller open to non-licensed noobs? Are there events someone like me can participate there? If so, it is definitely something to shoot for.
