Default Spare tire bracket bolt...

Anyone know the size of a replacement bolt that would go in there and the thread pitch too? This is the one that holds the spare tire in...

It's an M10 x 55 but I don't know the pitch. You can find plenty of them at junk yards that might have a 924 or 944. They are usually laying in the well as people buy the spares. I'm sure it's not too expensive even new though.

M10 it is, length for the "project" is 35MM... thread pitch, 1.5.

BTW...Those bolts vary with the offset of wheels, meaning the early cars have a shorter bolt that just "sorta will work" on the late cars. Bruce
